  I've never been to John's Stereo before, but heard an ad saying they were having a going out of business sale. I had a co-worker in mind that needed some 6 by 9s for his daughter's car. I thought I'd look and see if they had a name brand pair for cheap. They didn't. They had name brands but everything cost much more than what I can get the same stuff for on line. That is considering that they have the speakers marked down. Most of what they were selling was still more than what I was expecting to pay. I did buy an item later that I found out later was $16 more than what the manufacturer's site had it listed for. I don't regret it though. They were really nice people and it must be very hard to compete with online shopping. Sometimes I pay more locally to keep good people like them going. By time anyone reads this they will probably be closed. Oh well.
